From Brussels to Thailand’s rings
Born in Brussels, Youssef comes from a family with roots in northern Morocco, according to his Le360 interview. BRAVE CF places his start at twelve and his move to Thailand at seventeen, alongside his brother Yassine. The move began a long period of training and competition.

WBC MuayThai’s retrospective credits him with four world-title defences. He also received the Diamond Belt after meeting Niclas Larsen in July 2021. WBC describes that belt as an honorary distinction, rather than another weight division.
